raccoon
Whenever we go to the zoo, we love visiting the raccoon enclosure. It is a forest reserve with logs, water the raccoons like wading into, branches, grass trees and all.
Raccoons are adorable creatures. Whenever they see people, the entire community comes running out, and begging for food. They would stand on their hind legs with their little paws in a begging for food pose and look at you with their imploring eyes. Even though the DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS signs are displayed prominently all over the place, the signs are usually ignored as people dig into their bags to pull out the bread they brought along for the racoons.
Ok, we usually long to take home one of those raccoons but it is not feasible. No point getting locked up in jail for trying to smuggle one of the zoo's raccoons home anyway. Still, there are cuddly raccoon plush toys, books about raccoons, videos, DVDs and collectibles that feature raccoons. Here they are. At the best prices we could find.
