The pair can go around with the animal pals, to give the party a jungle like atmostphere.
Get a pal dressed as a monkey to play the drums with his hands. The drums in the background will do nicely as jungle music.

If you want some extra cash, once you have the costumes and games planned out, you can conduct such jungle parties for other people as well. Advertise your services in the papers. Spread the word among your friends. And split the earnings fairly among your entire jungle party team.
The kids would love a ride on the elephant. They could play catching with the lion. Monkey could piggy back the kids around. If Tarzan is a gymnast or an athlete who can swing on vines, the guests would be delighted to see him swinging around. If he is strong enough, he could pick up a guest and swing around with her too.
