As a result, the youngest brother blames the bear for his brother's death and want revenge. He goes and kills mommy bear, leaving the baby bear orphaned. As a punishment, his dead brother's spirit turns the youngest brother into a bear. Hence, the title Brother Bear.

Brother bear meets the orphaned bear and they travel together, becoming firm friends. He learns to see things from the animal's point of view. As a bear, he can communicate with animals and sees a whole new world altogether.
